facebook/ msn/ texting

Posted by on | |
so, i love these things, dont get me wrong. im "good at facebook," im always set as away on msn but im always online available for the harassing, and texting is a genius invention in itself. but when it comes to those more personal conversations, none of these are suffice. if you want to appologize to someone, doing so on msn just doesnt seem like it has as great of an effect. breaking up with someone via facebook is a douche move, and texting someone you love them for the first time is just so wussy-ish. but whats annoying is that so many people have lacked the ability to do ALLLL of these in the "old fashioned" ways, ie calling them or actually doing so in person. i have luckily still maintained my ability of verbally communicating with people, but tons haven't. so as one of those few who still has the balls to verbally speak to someone about awkward/cute/shitty situations, whats even more annoying is that people prefer the easy way out. "lets talk on msn" is probs the STUPIDEST thing to say, when the message can be relayed in a much more efficient and less time consuming manner. and when you try calling someone, they NEVER answer theyre phone. goshhhhhh. wadafack? yeah the situation may be more awkward, and yes it can be traumatizing, but it think it shows that you care more, that you are willing to put more effort into the dealio, rather than just using your fingers to type a few words. i dunno, random thought.

p.s. today i realized, when it comes to boys, im such a fuck up.

I love calling people when they hate being called. Awkward fun times!
